AddVenture makes equity investments in qualifying companies in accordance with the provisions of the Venture Capital Act (1994) and its attendant regulations. AddVenture is also allowed to make permitted investments as defined in the Act, such as investments in cash and near cash assets held at an institution licensed under the Financial Institutions Act (1993). In addition to providing equity capital, the Company's functions include the provision of managerial and business expertise to those companies in which it already has made (or is considering making) an investment.

Add Venture Capital Fund Limited was incorporated as a limited liability company under the Companies Ordinance on December 31st 1996. AddVenture was registered as a venture capital company (VCC) under the Venture Capital Act (1994) on January 13th 1997 and became a public company on March 27th 1998. The registered office of AddVenture is 2, Herbert Street, St. Clair, Port-of-Spain.

Management of AddVenture is provided by Clico Investment Bank Limited. As Fund Manager of AddVenture Capital Fund Limited, CIB's core functions will include the selection, mobilization and monitoring of various projects as well as the solicitation of funds from potential investors.
