To obtain the tax credit which is equal to the marginal rate of tax, presently 30%, the individual must be a resident of Trinidad and Tobago and the company must be incorporated in Trinidad and Tobago.

A company which is either incorporated in Trinidad & Tobago or designated a CARICOM enterprise under the CARICOM Enterprises Act.
